Sourcing Executive – Apparel Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Development:
    • Research and identify potential suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished garments, ensuring they meet quality, compliance, and cost standards.
  • Price Negotiation:
    • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable pricing, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Sample Creation & Approval:
    • Coordinate with suppliers to develop and approve samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Production Oversight:
    • Oversee the production process to ensure timely delivery of orders, adherence to quality standards, and resolution of any production issues.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Evaluate and maintain accurate records and documentation for sourcing activities.
  • Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual growth.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in apparel sourcing, with a focus on operations.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Negotiation Skills:
    • Strong ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
