Backend Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing scalable backend components, reading and understanding external API documentation, and collaborating with product managers and developers.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of backend development experience in Java, as well as hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs to support integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical tasks
  • Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
  • Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
  • Debug production issues by analyzing logs

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Java and backend development principles
  • Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively
  • Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management in the future
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation
