About this Role

Altoura is a pioneer in spatial computing, offering a no-code platform for creating immersive experiences. Our solutions operate in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), enabling hybrid workers to collaborate, train, visualize, and learn from any location.

We seek a talented UI/UX Designer with strong UX expertise to drive the design of intuitive experiences. In this role, you will focus on understanding user needs, mapping workflows, and designing visually polished interfaces.

  • Conduct thorough research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points of both end-users and content creators.
  • Translate requirements into user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that prioritize usability and clarity.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate the creation of UI screens based on validated UX flows, while using Figma for design workflows.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and thrives in fast-moving startup environments. This role involves working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure seamless handoffs and implementations.

Responsibilities
  • Create visually appealing UI designs, including supporting graphics, illustrations, and icons when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Altoura's design system for consistency across devices and platforms.
  • Apply accessibility and usability best practices in all design outputs.
Requirements
  • 4–5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong emphasis on UX.
  • A portfolio demonstrating problem-solving and UX thinking behind designs, rather than just final UI.
