Data Management Specialist

At our organization, we are looking for a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test data management strategies to support enterprise-wide testing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Informatica TDM/Data Masking tools, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand test data requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose datasets for functional, integration, performance, and UAT testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement test data management strategies to support enterprise-wide testing initiatives
  • Configure and manage Informatica TDM/Data Masking tools to create, subset, and mask sensitive data across environments
  • Analyze source systems and identify Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive data that require masking
  • Implement data obfuscation to ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards
  • Work with stakeholders to understand test data requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose datasets
  • Optimize test data provisioning processes to improve testing efficiency and reduce cycle times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Test Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Masking (TDM, ILM) tools
  • Strong knowledge of Informatica TDM (Test Data Management), ILM (Information Lifecycle Management), and Persistent Data Masking
  • Experience with static and dynamic data masking across RDBMS, files, and applications
  • Proficiency in data sub-setting, synthetic data generation, cloning, and archiving using Informatica tools
  • Working knowledge of Informatica Developer, Metadata Manager, and Model Repository Service
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ability to write complex SQL queries
  • Proven track record of working with data privacy frameworks and compliance standards
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data migration testing
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data security in cloud environments is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
