Establish a culture of excellence within the creative team by motivating and influencing them to consistently strive for high performance. Proactively monitor the quality of design projects, lead internal review sessions, and seek feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will oversee the timely delivery of all jobs and projects, taking into consideration client requirements and expectations. They will also investigate and implement innovative ways of delivering design services to maximize efficiency and productivity.

A key responsibility will be to actively manage team meetings, forward scheduling meetings, and work review meetings. Additionally, they will manage, oversee, and coordinate the sharing of knowledge and the facilitation of learning within the team and across other employees to improve business practices, refine processes, aid the development of creative ideas, and introduce new services.

This role involves attending client meetings, presenting work, discussing needs, and identifying opportunities. The ideal candidate will also assign creative leads, develop accounts, and teams, while keeping abreast of global creative trends.

The Chief Artistic Visionary will collaborate with the workflow/studio manager in coordinating the effective allocation of design talent, facilitating information from colleagues, business managers, and staff. They will provide support to meet client demands and cover flexible working, holiday, and sick leave requirements in an economical manner.

To act as a brand guardian, ensuring that all design collateral produced is faithful to client brand guidelines. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-level client service from all team members.

The successful candidate will have experience directing complex commercial design projects involving senior stakeholders and interdisciplinary creative teams, with strong expertise across multiple industries. They must be highly creative, able to generate ideas, and practically contribute to design details, demonstrating exceptional graphic design and typography skills.

They should have deep technical design skills in one or more disciplines, e.g., Content Creation, Design for Digital, Brand Immersion, Events, Design for Print, User Experience, etc. A proven ability to communicate and liaise with all levels in the business is essential, as well as influence stakeholders at all levels, including outside the design team.

The ideal candidate will have director-level written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, and be proficient in Adobe CC, Microsoft Office, and other related software. They must be a driven, proactive, helpful, and enthusiastic team player, able to mentor, develop, and/or line manage the team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
