Senior Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Modeler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust geological models and generating multiple development scenarios.

The primary purpose of this role is to perform integrated interpretation of available geo-science data, build static geo-cellular models, and estimate resource and reserve.

• Review stratigraphic/coal seam correlations and structural interpretations.
• Build static geo-cellular models incorporating available field data.
• Volumetric estimation in multiple cases capturing range of uncertainties.

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

M.Sc / M.Tech or PhD in Geology

And have minimum 8-12 years relevant experience in industry working on interpretation, geo-modelling, well planning, and operations.

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and QC of various geological & seam parameter maps.
• Generating alternate development scenarios with respect to well type and spacing.
• Supporting Ops Geology team during geo-steering/drilling operations and providing operational decisions as required.
• Providing technical inputs for business development plans.
