Senior Software Quality Assurance Expert


Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Expert to lead our QA efforts and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality features.

This role involves overseeing quality assurance processes, developing and executing test plans, automating testing processes, and conducting exploratory testing to identify defects. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining strict deadlines, elevating quality standards through continuous improvement, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality assurance efforts and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality features.
  • Develop and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and conduct exploratory testing to identify defects.
  • Maintain strict deadlines and elevate quality standards through continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of release deliverables, multitask, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Create comprehensive QA artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and deployment guides.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Configure test environments, perform software installations, and deployments.
  • Conduct scalability testing for SAAS applications, utilizing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in functional and automated testing of SAAS products, leading teams of 3-5 engineers.
  • Experience with public or private cloud platforms, including certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Strong skills in functional UI and API automation, as well as Linux knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Oracle DB is a plus.
