Job Title: Backend API Developer Specialist

 

As a Backend API Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust APIs using Google Apigee Edge/X/Hybrid.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure APIs that meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement API architecture, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of APIs.
  • Design and develop API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger Specification & Documentation.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure smooth handovers and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in API development and integration.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Apigee Edge / Apigee X / Apigee Hybrid
  • Policy Development (Security, Mediation, Routing)
  • CI/CD Automation for API Deployment
  • Monitoring & Analytics (Apigee, Splunk, Stackdriver)
  • Exposure to Event-Driven or Microservices Architecture
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, API Gateway, and API Security
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
