We're seeking a creative Furniture Designer who combines imagination with data-driven insights to develop globally competitive product lines in dining, seating, and case goods.
- Conduct market research through customer purchase history, social media, and international trends to inform design concepts.
- Design original furniture pieces using solid wood materials such as Mango, Oak, Acacia, and Teak that align with our export strengths.
- Draft production-ready drawings using CAD tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Rhino.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture design, preferably with a focus on solid wood.
- Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
- Knowledge of global furniture trends, ergonomics, finishing techniques, and joinery.
- Ability to translate research findings into commercially viable designs.
- Experience working with reclaimed or sustainable wood materials.
- Understanding of packaging and shipping requirements for exports.
- Familiarity with American and European design preferences.
