Senior PHP Developer Position

We are looking for a seasoned developer to lead our team and oversee the development of complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise:
  • A strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles and extensive knowledge of core PHP.
  • Experience working with legacy CodeIgniter 1 and modern CodeIgniter 4 frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, including client-side functionality and integration with backend services.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of best practices for code quality, readability, and maintainability.
  • Peer code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests for code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Version control using Git for collaborative development.
  • API integration for consuming and creating endpoints.
  • Performance tuning on frontend and backend.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Guiding team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address them.
  • Staying updated with the latest technology trends and advocating for best engineering practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of PHP and its ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
