Job Description

We're looking for a talented e-commerce solutions developer to create high-performance apps for the Shopify ecosystem. This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in crafting scalable, maintainable code.

This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify apps that prioritize speed, responsiveness, and edge performance. You will be responsible for implementing front-end interfaces using React, Remix, Polaris, and TailwindCSS, as well as integrating with Shopify Admin APIs, GraphQL APIs, and Webhooks for store data and app functionality.

You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams for feature planning and delivery, and write unit and integration tests for reliable, production-grade code.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • React: Strong experience with functional components, hooks, and state management.
  • Remix or React Router: Proficiency in building nested routes, loaders, actions, and server rendering.
  • Shopify Admin API: Deep understanding of REST and GraphQL endpoints, app authentication (OAuth), and webhook handling.
  • Polaris UI: Skilled in building pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces using Shopify's design system.
  • TailwindCSS: Advanced knowledge of utility-first styling and responsive design.
  • Node.js / TypeScript: Comfort with backend logic, API routes, and type-safe coding.
  • Experience with App Bridge, JWT-based auth flows, and session management for Shopify apps.

Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers, Bun, or Vercel is a plus.
