Reliable Application Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Reliable Application Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve providing consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.

  • Key Responsibilities include Execute on Incident, Change Management, Problem Management processes
  • Building and supporting a reliable application suite
  • Design and develop resiliency in application code, troubleshoot incidents, engage with squads to address failure patterns, and participate in incident management

Additionally, the position requires:

  • Maintaining platform performance and availability through monitoring, timely service restoration, and tuning
  • Implementing changes to platforms with minimal impact to the business
  • Design and document enterprise standards and procedures

Responsibilities also include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels
  • Identifying gaps in monitoring or documentation and reaching out to appropriate teams

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a global team, and be proficient in software development lifecycle.

Prior experience working in a similar capacity is essential, and knowledge of ITIL principles would be beneficial.
