  • Create a highly scalable data infrastructure to efficiently handle large volumes of data, simplifying its analysis and processing for swift development of high-quality data products and services.
  • Develop and test robust low-latency data pipelines for preparing and curating data that supports various data-as-a-service products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore data, identify necessary data wrangling, clean, curate, and build end-to-end data pipelines in line with requirements.
  • Implement privacy and security controls into CICD pipelines for each data pipeline, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Focus on error handling, restartability, data consistency, logging, monitoring, and alerting in the pipeline.
  • Prioritize continual improvements for reliability, performance, scalability, quality, and associated KPIs.

Key Requirements

">
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and operating cloud-native data streaming systems with emphasis on scalability, robustness, data delivery, low latency, and data privacy and quality control.
  • 5+ years of experience working in cloud-native real-time streaming data ecosystems such as Spark, Flink, Kinesis, Lambda, Kafka, EMR/EKS platform, Lakehouse platform (i.e Delta.io, Databricks).
  • 5+ years of experience in developing, optimizing AWS data system architecture: Infrastructure as Code, integration and deployment automation, security.
  • 5+ years of experience ensuring operation reliability of cloud-native data systems in production.
  • 5+ years of experience in relational database concepts with solid knowledge of SQL, SQL Tuning, Big Data NoSQL technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with languages like Spark-Scala, Py-Spark, and/or Python, Java.
  • Experience in developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
  • Experience in building systems that monitor data losses and data quality control.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience in designing foundations of Operational Excellence and implementing.
  • Curiosity and passion to learn with strong bias to action.
