We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Busisol Sourcing.
About the Role:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the shipping company, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and financial transactions related to shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient payment processing.
- C coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to resolve billing and payment issues, providing excellent customer service and communication.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data and identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Monitor and control expenses related to shipping operations, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing process improvements.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets for shipping projects and operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and information, ensuring seamless collaboration with auditors.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost-saving, making recommendations for process improvements and budget optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in the shipping industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with financial software and systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
