Seeking Chemistry Expertise to Advance AI Capabilities

Role Overview:

This role involves working on projects to fine-tune large language models using strong analytical and English comprehension skills.

  • The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Chemistry, comparable to engineering entrance exams, as well as graduate or PhD-level programs.
  • They must be able to break down complex chemistry problems into simple explanations and work efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The expert will spend time solving advanced chemistry problems, including those at the undergraduate and graduate level, creating detailed explanations, and regularly working with a mix of chemistry content—combining text with images, chemical equations, diagrams, and visual representations.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Explaining the steps in a complex organic reaction mechanism, providing textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solving problems involving chemical equilibrium, accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, explaining the process using text and visual aids.
  • Addressing challenging problems involving stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry, utilizing textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Qualification: Candidates pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields are eligible to apply.
