Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

Overview

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Experience with AWS is also essential. Additionally, you should be comfortable collaborating with frontend developers to define interfaces and integrate backend services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations using Node.js and Express.
  • Work closely with MongoDB to design schemas, implement indexing, querying, and scaling strategies.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to define interfaces and data contracts, and integrate backend services.
  • Ensure high availability, security, logging, and scalability of deployed applications on AWS.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on MERN stack.
  • Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
  • Strong experience with AWS, including setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and security.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, and fault tolerance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
