Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a Station Leader. As a key member of the culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food products for various outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of a particular workstation engaged in preparing and cooking food products.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to employees and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Prepare daily requisitions and conduct inventory of workstation storage.
- Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all dishes prepared.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service.
- Prior experience as a Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie is highly desirable.
- Culinary school degree is required.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
