About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing APIs on the Apigee platform, leveraging their expertise in front-end technical architectural and design discussions with clients. This role requires hands-on experience in building APIs, designing API strategy, and best practices for deploying APIs on cloud/on-prem platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing APIs on the Apigee platform for clients
  • Developing and unit testing API proxies as per the design
  • Reviewing API implementations done by other team members
  • Supporting and executing integration and performance testing of APIs
  • Designing Apigee platform architecture for high availability and scalability
  • Implementing API Security using in-built Apigee policies
  • Setting up CI/CD processes for API deployment on Apigee using Jenkins, Maven, Grunt, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or relevant experience
  • Over 2 years of experience in API management software
  • Apigee or GCP certification is highly desired
  • Must have at least one end-to-end project hands-on experience developing and deploying APIs/API Products in Apigee API Management platform
