Junior Accountant Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the entire accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare and evaluate financial statements, such as cash flow, income, and balance sheets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of the accounting cycle by ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other documents to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as accounting standards (GAAP and IFRS).
  • Assist in audit preparation by providing required documentation and support.
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and systems to enhance productivity and precision.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants to enhance accounting processes and improve overall financial performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as CPA or CMA.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software and technology.
