Principal Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Engineer to spearhead the development of our Agent Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

About the Role

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and building the core backend services that form the backbone of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and operate these services, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and Build: Design, develop, and operate the foundational backend services that form the backbone of our platform.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews.
  • Founder-level Accountability and Impact: Take ownership of complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Tackle our most challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of designing and building complex, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).
  • Experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure is essential.
