Sr. Cloud Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CLOUD ENGINEER to join our team as a key member in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for setting up and managing complex AWS environments.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, and other tools used for infrastructure setup and maintenance.
  • Key responsibilities include setting up ECS/EKS clusters, deployments, and performance-based scaling, automation of infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation, and management of AWS IAM configuration, roles, policies, and user groups.
  • You will also be expected to set up and manage RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), network configurations using services such as VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, etc., and monitor AWS environment using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and others.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for creating knowledge bases, documenting SOPs, and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Able to work independently with clear communication skills and collaborate effectively as a proactive and supportive team player.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with Bitbucket/GitHub pipeline creation and ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Strong background in cost analysis and resource optimization.
  • AMI upgrades, patch application, and maintenance window management experience.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines.
