Instructional Designer

We are seeking an experienced instructional designer to join our team. This is a full-time, work-from-home (WFH) role based in Chennai.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in instructional designing for higher education or corporate education with any reputed e-learning content development company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Storyboarding – Translate the raw video footage into an accessible and engaging series of videos that enhance the student's learning.
  • Visualization – Use visual medium to convey ideas and enhance learning - creating visual representations of concepts, ensuring visual consistency and harmony in the videos, and giving due attention to learner engagement in this world of rapidly-shortening attention spans.
  • Co-ordination with the Production team – Interacting with teammates and the extended team (video editing partners) to create a top-quality product.
  • Learning Management System – Manage content and develop assets on the Learning Management System.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years' work experience in a fast-paced, growth environment in a similar role.
  • Specialized knowledge: Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning, MS Office skills and especially MS PowerPoint skills.
