Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Water Resource Engineer to lead the planning and design of water supply schemes, sewerage systems, and stormwater management solutions. As part of our team, you will work on exciting projects in water supply and wastewater management, utilizing industry-standard software tools like WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, SWMM, GIS, and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive water supply master plans, sewerage master plans, and drainage plans.
  • Lead the planning and design of water supply schemes, sewerage systems, and stormwater management solutions.
  • Use industry-standard software tools for designing and analyzing systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Act as a team lead, managing project deliverables and maintaining communication between all stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing infrastructure and collect data for design purposes.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss project progress, requirements, and solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations in the design and implementation of projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Water Resource Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in designing and planning water supply systems, sewerage systems, and drainage plans.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with software tools like WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, SWMM, GIS, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in Urban planning, smart city planning, AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation), and JJM (Jal Jeevan Mission) projects is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Salary Estimate

Rupees 25-40 lakhs per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
