Chief Financial Operations Specialist

Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing master data management and the transformation of current finance and accounting processes to achieve simplification and automation in a shared service environment, encompassing account payable, receivable, GL, and other activities for a large manufacturing group.
Responsibilities:
- Making strategic technology decisions related to the client's MDM environment and interpreting requirements to architect an effective MDM solution.
- Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of SAP systems with hands-on experience in configuration and maintaining master data fields.
- Driving end-to-end solution architecture of MDM, including data model definition and refinement, data quality assessment, remediation design, data migration strategy, data stewardship, process, and system interaction design.
- Utilizing MDM technologies and tools across companies to enable the management and integration of master data.
- Exhibiting working knowledge of all technologies used for automation purposes, such as RPA.
- Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of SAP (HANA) to lead projects for simplification and automation, with a strong understanding of sub-systems and t-codes.
- Actively identifying new initiatives, evaluating vendors/implementation partners, and driving timely delivery of projects in collaboration with process owners and IT verticals.
- Identifying gaps in existing processes, supporting closure of related projects through automation in SSC verticals, and demonstrating good stakeholder management.
- Promoting a commitment to ethical behavior and adhering to company policies and current laws.
- Demonstrating a "can do" attitude with strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to connect with vendors, participate in vendor selection, and negotiate functional terms.
- Prior experience working in Indian captive shared services or matured captive SSC is highly valued.
- Leading transformation streams and having experience with Six Sigma - Green Belt or Black belt is a plus.
- PMP or Project Management experience is also a plus.
- Managed Data governance and Master data management (MDM).
- Leading cross-functional teams through requirements, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Implementing new systems that integrate with existing infrastructure and applications, as well as decommissioning legacy systems when appropriate.
- Leading the implementation of a data quality program to reduce customer complaints.
- Managing all aspects of master data management, including business rules and attributes for legacy systems.
