Senior AS400/RPG Software Professional

Job Overview:
- Our team is seeking a skilled AS400/RPG developer to join our group of professionals who design and develop innovative solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE programming language.
- Experience with ILE Advanced concepts, including procedures, service programs, functions, and free RPG coding syntax.
- Expertise in complex SQL concepts and programming, as well as FTP concepts and automation.
- Ability to create, build, and maintain different libraries in an AS/400 environment.
- Database Management:
- Excellent understanding of database management systems, DDS, subfiles, and RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts.
- Knowledge of CL & OS/400 commands.
- Support and Operations:
- Perform iSeries/AS400 technical support and operations, including CL programming skills for automation.
- Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired.
- Additional Skills:
- Any experience in web services, application integration, or modernization areas of AS/400 would be an added advantage.
- Provide technical support during testing, assist in deployment, and provide post-deployment support.
- Interaction with the client team independently.
- Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
