Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform synthetic chemistry reactions, reaction workups, and purification of compounds using column chromatography, crystallization, and re-crystallization techniques.
  • Ensure that samples generated during synthesis are given for analysis and record subsequent results obtained.
  • Record observations of experiments, results, and utilization of resources in the laboratory or e-notebook.
  • Meet Syngene's productivity expectations without compromising on safety and quality.
  • Ensure confidentiality and adhere to EHS and quality system requirements in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc in General or Organic Chemistry.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in organic synthesis.
  • Excellent analytical interpretation and purification skills.
  • Familiar with operations of relevant apparatus and equipment.
