Platform Firmware Validation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify functional and stress tests to identify silicon defects on emulators.
- Validate firmware features, including reset management, power control, secure boot, and virtualization.
- Bring up the full AMD graphics software stack in emulation.
- Collaborate with workloads and SW teams to run ML/AI applications in emulation.
- Interface with Central Emulation team for CPU/GPU Emulation environment development and debugging.
- Provide debug leadership and input to test plans.
- Triage failures with design, verification, firmware, software, and emulation teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in secure platform concepts, such as Root of Trust and Chain of Trust.
- Proficiency in emulation platforms, like Veloce, Zebu, or Palladium, including compilation, debug, performance, and throughput tuning.
- Debugging experience in HW/SW co-debug environments is essential.
- Ability to trace code across multiple domains and root cause using waveforms and other tracing tools.
- Understanding of Verilog, VHDL design, System Verilog, and UVM verification environments.
- Knowledge of computer hardware architecture, memories, bus architecture, and computer software architecture.
