As a Test Engineer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software applications.

Your responsibilities will include contributing to API testing to validate backend services and integration points, working with automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber, identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues, and developing a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and contributing to overall product quality.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript programming, hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber, and a strong understanding of basic testing principles and SDLC processes. Additionally, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and demonstrate a self-motivated attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow in software quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software functionality and performance
  • Contribute to API testing to validate backend services and integration points
  • Work with automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues
  • Develop a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and contribute to overall product quality

  • Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript programming
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber
  • Understanding of basic testing principles and SDLC processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
