About this role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAD Designer to work remotely on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and reviewing technical drawings and designs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drawing development: Creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
  • Design review: Reviewing and revising existing drawings as per client or project team feedback.
  • Accuracy and consistency: Maintaining accuracy and consistency in technical drawings and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate design concepts into precise CAD outputs.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project guidelines.
  • File management: Managing and organizing CAD files, drawings, and related documentation.
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with remote teams to support project delivery.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a CAD designer, draftsman, or similar role.
  • CAD proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); experience with other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp) is a plus.
  • Design principles: Strong understanding of design principles, drafting standards, and technical documentation.
  • Interpretation: Ability to interpret architectural, engineering, or mechanical drawings.
  • Attention to detail: Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
