Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Product Control Specialist. As a critical member of the financial strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's financial health through accounting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and analysis.

Your expertise will support senior management in cash and debt management, driving the financial success of the organization.

  • You will be responsible for reconciling daily profit and loss figures for trading desks to ensure they align with valued positions in the trading book.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between profit and loss figures to ensure they reflect the true economic value of the trading portfolio.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks, and report on these financial risks to senior colleagues.
  • Maintain and analyse the bank's trading data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and provide insights to traders and senior colleagues on trading performance.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities, and provide support to external audits, including addressing auditor queries and ensuring trading activities are appropriately reflected in financial statements.

  • Delivery of work and areas of responsibility in line with relevant rules, regulation, and codes of conduct.
