The Role

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with authors, publishers, and supporting teams to ensure timely project delivery
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project requirements
  • Establish a workflow and ensure projects stay on track
  • Maintain project timelines, budgets, and service levels
  • Anticipate and address project challenges proactively
  • Support the team during crisis situations and contribute to administrative or managerial tasks as needed
  • Prepare reports and respond to customer feedback in a timely manner
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Clarify project instructions and requirements as necessary, and confirm expectations with stakeholders

Ideal Profile

Desired Candidate:

  • Graduate or postgraduate with 2-4 years of experience in project management in the publishing domain
  • Excellent communication and English language skills
  • Adept at email communication
  • Organized with strong planning and execution skills
  • Able to collaborate and achieve results
  • Experience in MS Office and editorial/publishing background is an asset
  • Logical reasoning and ability to ask questions when needed
  • Will ability to relocate to Chennai
