Job Overview

Mizuho's Cyber Security team is built on strong values and fosters diversity in all aspects.

This role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats. The primary goal is to monitor Carbon Black EDR alerts and maintain SLAs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Continuously research and monitor Carbon black EDR to identify potential threats.
  • Analyze endpoint data to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and suspicious activities.
  • Conduct initial assessment of security incidents, including determining scope and impact.
  • Evaluate threat intelligence tools for alert analysis.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information technology systems.
  • 5-7 years of work experience as a security analyst with hands-on EDR experience.
  • Cyber security certification (CEH, CompTIA+) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with banking business and IT practices and trends in the banking sector.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
