Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design scalable APIs, integrate structured data with AI models, and ensure the platform remains secure and reliable.

This role involves designing and maintaining backend services and APIs for core CRM objects, integrating Large Language Models with structured data, and implementing systems that ensure AI outputs are traceable and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design scalable backend services and APIs for core CRM objects.
  • Integrate LLMs with structured data through function calling and other AI-driven workflows.
  • Implement systems ensuring AI outputs are traceable and reliable.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Postgres/Prisma.
  • Build secure, multi-tenant features with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)/Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) and audit logging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong skills in Node.js/NestJS (or similar frameworks).
  • Proficiency in REST & GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres (Prisma or TypeORM).
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and AI/ML workflows.
  • Understanding of event-driven systems (SQS/Kafka/NATS).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices (OAuth 2.0, multi-tenant systems, audit logs).
