Job Description

As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products across categories, particularly in personal care and surface care brands. Your expertise in microbiology will be instrumental in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects.

You will work closely with global microbiologists to drive data generation, analysis, and recommendations around antimicrobial performance of personal care and surface care innovations. Additionally, you will contribute towards continuous improvement of lab procedures and best practices.

In this role, you will manage interactions with external labs and institutions while working on innovation projects. You will also maintain and improve the microbiology lab as per global quality and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards like EN, ASTM, and ISO. A self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will thrive in this environment and excel as a collaborative team player.

  • Support New Product Development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims.
  • Plan and conduct experiments to evaluate antimicrobial efficacy of prototype formulations and finished products.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D laboratory procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain lab records in compliance with Microbiology Laboratory and Global Quality standards.
  • Liaise with external laboratories in a professional and productive manner.
