Job Title: Junior Purchase Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Purchase Engineer to join our team at Tesk Training Consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and a passion for HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:


  2. Purchasing and Supply Chain Management: Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for Indian and export projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  3. Capital Project Purchase: Manage the purchase of HVAC mechanical equipment, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, pipes, fittings, valves, etc.
  4. Vendor Development and Management: Identify and develop new vendors, as well as manage existing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchases.
  5. Inventory Management and Budgetary Control: Oversee inventory levels, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  6. Stock and Store Management: Ensure efficient stock management, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  7. ERP Software Development and Training: Assist in the implementation and training of new ERP software systems to improve procurement processes.
  8. Logistic and Transportation Vendor Development and Management: Develop and manage relationships with logistics and transportation vendors to ensure smooth delivery of materials.
  9. Project-wise Material Planning and Scheduling: Assist in planning and scheduling material procurement for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  10. Material Procurement Planning and Sourcing: Identify and source materials and equipment for projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  11. Purchase and Store Team Management: Assist in managing the purchase and store team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  12. New Material Enquiry and Market Rate Analysis: Conduct market rate analysis and prepare budgetary rate comparisons for new materials.
  13. Vendor Negotiation and Cost Reduction: Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs and improve quality.
  14. Commercial and Account Documentation: Assist in preparing commercial and account documentation, including vendor contracts and invoices.
  15. P2P Process Management and Development: Assist in managing and developing the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process to improve procurement efficiency.
  16. Vendor Cost Vs Budget Report Preparation: Prepare reports comparing vendor costs with budgeted costs.
  17. Project Purchase Bar Chart Preparation: Assist in preparing project purchase bar charts to visualize procurement progress.
  18. Develop Strategic Partnerships with Vendors: Develop strategic partnerships with vendors to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs.
  19. Quality and Cost Efficiency: Ensure quality and cost efficiency in procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP software systems.
