Job Overview

A Enterprise Resiliency Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing resiliency-focused strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure. This role involves developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement resiliency-focused testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • Perform stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations.
  • Monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing resiliency enhancements.
Required Skills:
  • 5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages Python and Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
