Job Title:

Fund Accounting Manager

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the fund accounting process and act as an effective back-up to their supervisor.

Responsibilities include service delivery, financial management, people management, risk management, and technical and behavioral competencies.

  • Service Delivery: Ensure NAV calculations are produced in a timely manner as per SLA, complete with accurate report generation, timely delivery of reports, scanning, and archiving.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Validate reconciliation breaks in TA, Cash, and Stock for each calculated NAV.
  • Ensure all reports are thoroughly reviewed and most updated information is provided.
  • Assist supervisors in preparing and reviewing reports.
  • Financial: Adhere to 100% quality while producing and reviewing NAVs, ensuring no financial impact or loss to the organization.

People Management:

  • Update colleagues on any changes or new events impacting business as usual.
  • Identify staff training requirements and ensure necessary training has been provided to team members.

Risk Management:

  • Enforce 100% compliance of ISAE 3402, carrying out sample testing daily and documenting results.
  • Minimize unplanned leaves during business-critical days.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

  • Good communication skills, teamwork, written, oral, and questioning ability.
  • Ability to plan work ahead, prioritize workload, and adapt to markets and clients' evolution.

Department BC Correspondents:

  • Act on behalf of department heads, designing, maintaining, and organizing BCM documentation and testing solutions.
  • Provide business data for analysis, design, and testing stages of BC Plans.

Specific Qualifications:

Accounting/Commerce

Minimum 10+ years of experience in Fund Accounting
