Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at ScaleneWorks. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing of customers, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant contracts, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bills customers in a timely and accurate manner, identifying and remediating issues as necessary.
  • Reconciles unbilled receivables on a scheduled basis, researching and analyzing information to determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Reviews various reports, including aged receivables, to identify unpaid invoices and determines the best course of action to collect payments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software.
  • Experience working with government contracts and customer invoicing.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and its requirements.
  • Experience working with electronic invoice submission and automated ad hoc query tools.
