We are seeking a highly skilled Dietician to lead our Clinical Nutrition Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Department Leadership - Ensure seamless operation of the department, collaborating closely with the F&B Manager and Chef to create nutritionally balanced menus for patients.
- Nutrition Care Planning - Develop high-standard patient-centered outcome-oriented Nutrition Care plans, reflecting medical, social, cultural, and religious needs and preferences.
- Administrative Management - Evaluate nutritional adequacy, adjust diets accordingly, and ensure customer satisfaction through follow-through on service quality issues.
- Quality Indicators - Establish inventory standards for stationary items and patient education material, analyze data, and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Food Service Management - Plan, standardize, and implement menus for in-patients, conduct training sessions for staff involved in patient meal preparation, and facilitate ongoing quality improvement in patient meal services.
You will also be responsible for conducting daily ward rounds, informing patients of their progress, providing bedside counseling, and offering follow-up consultations in OPDs. Additionally, you will organize innovative departmental activities, serve as a resource person to the HOD, and maintain personal professional growth through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Postgraduate degree or Diploma in Dietetics and/or Clinical Nutrition from a reputable university. A qualification in Registered Dietician Examination and/or hospital administration is an added advantage.
