Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

As a key member of our software development team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our applications. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the QA team and develop strategies for testing and quality assurance.

We are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance. You should have a thorough understanding of test management and defect management processes, as well as experience with Agile delivery models.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manual testing processes and a variety of testing techniques and methodologies. They will also have strong knowledge of industry-wide quality and test processes and practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining test data profiling approaches and test data management approaches, as well as developing test scenarios, test cases, and preparing suitable test data. Additionally, you will mentor peers and resolve issues effectively.

You should have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate conceptual ideas clearly and effectively. You will work independently or as a member of a team, set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with financial domain, capital markets, and risk
  • Experience with heavy front office trading (listed, derivatives, fixed income products)
  • Knowledge of heavy desktop (MS Windows) and web applications
  • Experience with testing in an Agile delivery model
