Senior 2D Art Specialist

We're seeking an accomplished artist to craft captivating 2D art assets for mobile gaming platforms.

  • Create visually appealing characters, backgrounds, and props that align with our established art style.
  • Collaborate with the lead artist to develop and refine your skills, ensuring consistency in art quality and style across all assets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Exporting and assembling final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and file specifications.
  • Staying up-to-date with new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows to remain competitive in the industry.
  • Maintaining consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles.
  • Testing assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance.

This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a focus on mobile game development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills.
  • Experience creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.
  • Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery.
  • Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to defined technical parameters and protocols.
  • Quick to learn and apply new technical skills, tools, and workflows.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with a solid foundation in graphic design principles.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments and meeting tight deadlines.
