Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team in a remote position.

You will be responsible for ensuring that software bugs are detected early in the Software Development Lifecycle, liaising with development teams to promote continuous alignment and quality standards.

  • Implement automated tests for multiple testing scenarios in the context of a wide range of country instances.
  • Continuously extend the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks.
  • Work closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being achieved.
  • Propose process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy, and drive their implementation.
  • Mastery all necessary tools and components required to perform assigned tasks.
  • Foster a culture of quality as everyone's responsibility.

To excel in this role, you will require:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid experience with automated testing, with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of at least one software development language.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building Load/Stress Tests, using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark or similar.
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment.
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture.
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured, or similar tools.
