Job Description

The Content Strategist role involves developing comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives and learner acquisition goals.

Create conversion-focused copy for landing pages, sales funnels, and lead generation campaigns that drive enrolment.

Craft compelling course descriptions, curriculum outlines, and educational content to establish industry authority.

Produce white papers, case studies, and thought leadership content to simplify complex concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Content Development: Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives and learner acquisition goals.

    Create conversion-focused copy for landing pages, sales funnels, and lead generation campaigns.

    Craft compelling course descriptions, curriculum outlines, and educational content that drives enrolment.

    Produce white papers, case studies, and thought leadership content to establish industry authority.

  2. Multi-Channel Content Creation: Create optimized web copy, blog posts, and resource pages that rank and convert.

    Develop platform-specific content strategies with engaging captions, ad copy, and viral content concepts.

    Design high-converting email sequences, newsletters, and nurture campaigns.

    Write persuasive ad scripts for video, display, and social media campaigns with proven ROI.

  3. Production-Style Content: Create scripts for educational videos, webinars, and promotional content.

    Develop course marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and sales collateral.

    Write compelling testimonials, success stories, and case study narratives.

    Produce content for marketing automation sequences and customer journey mapping.

  4. Content Optimization & Analytics: Conduct advanced keyword research and implement technical SEO best practices.

    Analyze content performance metrics and optimize for engagement, conversion, and retention.

    A/B test headlines, copy variations, and messaging strategies.

    Collaborate with data teams to measure content ROI and attribution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Education:

  1. 5+ years of professional content writing/copywriting experience in EdTech, digital marketing, or skill training industry.

    Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

    Portfolio requirement: Must demonstrate measurable results (conversion rates, engagement metrics, campaign performance).

  2. Technical Expertise:

    • SEO: Basics of technical SEO knowledge, schema markup, keyword research, keyword cluster and search intent optimization.
    • Marketing Technology: Experience with CMS (WordPress, HubSpot), email platforms, and marketing automation tools.
    • Design Collaboration: Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to work with design teams on content-visual integration.

  3. Preferred Skills:

    • Conversion Copywriting: Proven track record of writing copy that converts prospects to customers.
    • Educational Content: Experience creating learning-focused content that simplifies complex concepts.
    • Brand Voice Development: Ability to create and maintain consistent brand voice across all channels.
    • Project Management: Experience managing multiple content projects with cross-functional teams.
