Senior Localization Manager Position

About the Role:

This role is for a Senior Localization Manager to oversee key programs/projects and ensure quality oversight. You will work closely with various teams to drive high-quality outputs, identify quality issues, implement solutions, and refine processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning quality programs that drive high-quality outputs.
  • Identifying quality issues and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Implementing solutions to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
  • Working cross-functionally to improve audit effectiveness and overall quality performance.
  • Owning linguistic quality of products, content, and data used for Machine Learning/AI applications.
  • Investigating localization issues found on apps/website using data to determine quality trends.
  • Leading initiatives to identify areas for Quality process improvements.
  • Evangalizing localization/globalization services with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • B.A. in Translation, Linguistics, Data, or similar field of study.
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of localization experience in tech industry.
  • Experience using CAT tools, managing Translation Memories, Glossaries, and Style Guides.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Project/Program Management skills.
  • Possession of core values.
