Software Engineer Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality software solutions.

This includes developing cloud-scale web-based component CMS, maintaining existing features, and evaluating the stability, reliability, and performance implications of proposed and implemented changes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and build cloud-scale web-based component CMS.
  • Maintain existing features.
  • Evaluate stability, reliability, and performance implications of proposed and implemented changes.
  • Participate in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle - specifications, design, development, delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields or extensive software development experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development as a full-stack developer.
  • At least 2 years of core Java development experience with a good understanding of multi-threading, synchronization, etc.
  • Solid experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
  • Strong Object-Oriented concepts (knowledge of SOLID, design patterns).
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex and multi-faceted issues, spanning the entire technology stack.
  • Understanding of high traffic systems and REST services that run 24x7 with minimal downtime, load balancing, failure detection, and failover options.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and technology boundaries to improve operability and supportability of critical customer-facing applications.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
