Senior Risk Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Strategist to develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies across the organization. This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure business continuity and minimize potential losses.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior executives and other stakeholders to align risk initiatives with business objectives and market trends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures;
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and providing recommendations for improvement;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into business planning and decision-making processes;
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on risk management best practices;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in risk management or a related field, preferably in a leadership or consulting capacity;
  • An advanced degree from a top-tier institution with strong analytical foundation;
  • Deep knowledge of financial services, preferably payments industry;
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive implementation without supervision;
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving strategic initiatives;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
