Direct Tax

Description:

The role entails providing expertise on Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing for manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Direct Tax, with at least 8-10 years of experience in the sector. They should be well-versed in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) / Ind AS, and Indian Direct Tax Laws.

This position requires cross-functional data coordination to ensure timely compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise on Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing for Manufacturing operations
  • Cross-functional data coordination to ensure timely compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Handle complex tax assessments and litigations
  • Coordinate with government departments to address related challenges
  • Maintain awareness of frequent changes in tax laws and regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong background in Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing sector
  • Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS/Ind AS, and Indian Direct Tax Laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Team leadership skills and willingness to stretch as needed
