**Senior Apigee Architect Role**
About the RoleThis role offers an opportunity to take a leadership position in guiding project teams and driving project management initiatives. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of industry standards and proprietary content to deliver valuable insights and support.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage expertise in Apigee platform form factors to design and execute comprehensive, end-to-end migrations tailored to address client needs and business objectives.
- Drive project teams and ensure seamless execution of API projects through strong leadership and effective project management.
- Engage in proactive account management, consult with clients, and propose strategic solutions to identify potential obstacles and explore future sales opportunities.
- Provide expert customer consultation by leveraging extensive knowledge of industry standards and proprietary content to deliver valuable insights and support.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, actively supporting and coordinating teams throughout the delivery and execution phases to ensure successful outcomes.
- Evaluate and accurately estimate project scope, resources, and timelines to contribute to project planning and resource allocation.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- 5 years of experience implementing and operating various Apigee platforms, including installation, automation, network configuration, proxy development, and operations.
- Extensive knowledge of Apigee platform form factors, particularly differences in management APIs, proxy design, and organization and environment structure.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing at least one of Apigee X or Hybrid, as well as at least one of Apigee OPDK or Edge Cloud.
- Deep understanding of Apigee components, including Cassandra, nginx routers, Apigee ingress, Kubernetes engine offerings across all clouds, etc.
- Familiarity with API security, particularly OAuth, and secure API development.
- Excellent communication skills: experience in client-facing consulting is ideal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment, working to milestones with limited definition.
- Ability to operate flexibly, adjusting requirements and perspectives to adapt quickly to changing requirements and technologies.
Candidates should be prepared to commit to complex projects requiring a deep understanding of the Apigee ecosystem.
OthersBachelor's degree in computer science or another STEAM discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to independently conceive of, manage, and execute on complex projects.
