Senior MERN Full Stack Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MERN Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing coding standards.
  • They will also be expected to architect and implement high-performance, secure, and responsive applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
  • Additionally, the candidate will optimize application performance, ensure timely delivery of projects, integrate third-party APIs and services, and manage cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • They will also implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain version control using Git.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Expertise in React.js (including Redux, Hooks), Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with React Native is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
