We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Teradata Developer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions based on specifications received.
You will work closely with project teams to ensure that project expectations are met. You will also be required to propose technical solutions and adapt to business needs. In addition, you will implement best practices, coding and development culture.
As a Teradata Developer, you should have good exposure in Teradata Development activities. You should also have decent experience in developing Teradata SQL code based on requirements. Furthermore, you should have experience in Teradata like BTEQ, Fast load, TPT, Macros and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions based on specifications received.
- Work and collaborate with project teams to meet project expectations.
- Propose technical solutions and adapt to business needs.
- Implement best practices, coding and development culture.
- Automate tasks using Unix shell script or Windows or Python.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers.
- Troubleshooting and debugging on Database issues.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.
Databases: Teradata SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Snowflake, Data Modelling.
Utilities: Teradata BTEQ, Fast load and TPT.
